I recieved my journal after a few days of ordering it, and it looked even better than I expected,and the look and smell was very vintage,as I plan to use it to do a family genealogy so my kids can have something that will not only look good but inform and educate.I have already put in an order for a second journal thanks Nomad craft love you product.
It just arrived in the mail today. Delivery was quick considering I live in Alaska and it takes weeks to get anything. I'm very pleased with the journal !! The pages are thick, hold up to calligraphy ink and it's a decent size and weight. The leather is a dark rich chocolate color which I love and it's super soft to the touch. It's well worth the price and as soon as I fill this one I will be purchasing another one. I noticed the label says 8x6 inches but website says 9x6 makes no difference to me however, someone else might point it out so I suggest changing it on the website. All in all super super happy with my purchase !!

Beautiful leather journal. Love the thick, antique colored pages and deckled edges. My only criticism is that the leather cover is a bit thinner than I expected at this price point. But I knew this as this is my second journal purchase. I plan to use them for travel art journals...if we can ever start traveling again.
about the two sketchbooks 1- the papers are different from the green ones ( dosent look old ) 2- the key is barely reaching to the pocket thanks

I wanted hand sewn pages with a leather cover. This journal delivers a rich feel in the hand. The paper is velvety thick. It is a calming experience writing onto each page. I recommend a sharpie fine point for writing. The paper is cut/hewn in a random way that creates an old world look yet has a new world feel in your hand. I like it a lot. I do love writing in it. Making this purchase on line was hard to really "know" if I was getting the product I wanted. I say this purchase was spot on for my need.

The general look of the journal is close to what I expected from the pictures I saw of it on your website...although, the only thing that seems slightly lacking is the leather cover is somewhat thin...I thought it would be a bit more substantial for the price. Thank you! Todd
